Have you ever had a second chance in life and you just took it and threw it away. You are offered help and you choose not to take it. A hand is reached out to you but you refuse to take it. If so you know what it feels like later on in life when you’re sitting by yourself in your room and you are wondering what went wrong? You ask yourself “Why did I do that. Why didn’t I take the help that I was offered when I was younger or earlier on in my life? Why did push everyone that tried to help me away? I’d wish I could have took the help that was offered to me. Now you’re stuck with dealing with the (fill in the blank with whatever problem you’re dealing with. )”
Now in this point in time you think it might be to late for help, but you’re wrong. If you are lucky enough to have someone who still cares enough for you and your wellbeing, they’ll help you get help the help that you’ve been needing. If you have at least one person who will stick by your side even after you keep pushing them away and stabbing them in the back, then just know you can make it through whatever problem you’re dealing with. For me personally I had two people who stuck by my side even after I pushed them away and basically told them to ‘F***’ off. Even though I never said those words, my actions told them otherwise. I stabbed them in the back so many times, yet they still stuck with me during the hard times, and never left me to deal with my struggles by myself. These two people were my mom, and my mentor. Without them I’d probably be dead from killing myself. My mom and mentor kept encouraging me to find the light at the end of the tunnel and to find faith again in myself, because i had given up on myself. So when you get the help you needed, you probably now say to yourself “I’m glad there is someone still out there who still cares for me. I am fortunate to have such an amazing and caring person in my life.” You also may realize how bad you have gotten since the beginning, but now that you see that there is someone out there who still cares for you, you now know how you can change your ways and get the help you need to make your health and mental state better. But just to let you guys know, this recovery won’t be an easy one. It’ll take a while for you to get better and to find the right source of medications and etc that work for you to make your life better then it was. But once you get the help you needed you should go to that person who never gave up on you and thank them. They might say “I just want you to be better and it’s nice to have you back.” Or something else, but the point is, don’t throw away any help that is offered to you. Take hold of it and never let go of it. Who knows what might happen if you let go. Don’t do it, don’t think you can manage with out help when you’re dealing with a serious problem. Because you can’t, and always keep a look out for that one caring person.
