Hi there my name is Alexis and I am a 20 year old female who lives in the USA. I just wanted to tell you guys a little bit about me.
First off let me tell you my story on my childhood and how I’ve grown up dealing with several types of mental disorders and physical disabilities, and the struggles of trying to overcome these hardships. The first thing you should know about me is that I have ADHD, bipolar depression, nonverbal learning disorder, (which means that I have a hard time understanding the things that are being told to me. I tend to forget many things, but not on purpose), and I’m flat footed, I have a history of suicidal tendencies and actions. I’m also adopted too, and happen to be the second eldest of younger four siblings, who happen to be all boys. I have six brothers and I live in a single parent household, where my mom is the main caregiver of me and my four younger siblings. I also have a spacial depth problem, which means that I have a can’t see things that good, and without my glasses everything in front of me is just a blur of shapes and colors.
Even though I deal with some of these things on a daily basis, I don’t let them define me as a person. Yeah I may struggle more than my friends and my family members, but that just makes me want to strive to accomplish my dreams and to overcome my hardships and struggle.
